FAQ

Books that designated as "Bookclub Selections" will be announced six weeks in advance, so everyone will have the chance to read them. Then we will submit our review and start the discussion in the comments section. The ratings will come out of that discussion and our reviews. Don't look for anything too academic, here, we mostly just like talking about books. It's quite possible that some of our favorites will be full of god and goodness and crap like that. 

Additionally, Louise and I will post reivews of other books we've read, rating them ourselves. These books are also open to discussion, they will just not be announced ahead of time. The reason we are doing this is because we read too damn much. One book in, rougly, two months is just not enough for us.

Can I sugest a book for the bookclub or for review"?

Yes, you can. E-mail your suggestions to librarians@satansbookclub.com and we will take it before our panel of Christians, uptight parents, and homophobes. And, depending upon their level of discomfort, we'll approve the selection!

Can I review a book?

Maaaybe. Actually, we'd love to have guest reviewers, or as we like to call them, Minions. To be a Minion, there are a couple of requirements. First, you have to be actively pimping the bookclub, linking to it from your own site. Second, you should be actively participating in the book discussions. And, finally, we would want to see something you've written. For example, if we are familar with your blog, we know you've got mad, phat skills, or marginally evil skills, and you are Pimping and Participating, you'll likely to find yourself... A MINION OF SATAN! [It's really not that hard. After all, we don't want to do all the works ourselves, do we?]
